It was time to have a break from the Mile Beach Project; so what better way but to travel out to a beautiful tropical Island and spend time sitting on some beaches.
That is exactly what we did, Magnetic Island is one of the most beautiful and interesting places you can go in Queensland. Joanne and I spend four wonderful days relaxing and exploring this majestic Island; Meeting Koalas on the fort walk, snorkelling, kayaking around the Island were just a few of our activities but for much of the time we just chilled out on the beaches.
It was also a change of pace with our accommodation, two nights joining the youth of the world at X Base, in Nelly Bay. Then onto a more secluded location, Joanne referred to as our Gilligan Island retreat.
