After spending a few extra days in Cooktown, sorting out gear and waiting for mail from home, we finally headed to Cairns. We had to spend time in the big smoke (Cairns) getting our D-Max checked-out before we headed into the outback again. While in Cairns we managed to fit in some exciting events.
