After the hassle and bustle of Ubud it was good to spend some quiet time in Sanur but the sea.
We stayed in the seaside resort in Sanur, Besakih Beach Hotel. We again hired a scooter to assist in our exploration and shopping. The impact of Mount Agung eruption and interruption to airflights was very apparent here. The were very few tourists in and around Sanur and our hotel was virtually empty. We again hired a scooter to assist in our exploration I managed to get some repairs and replacement diving equipment in preparation for our next place Gili Islands.
We also returned to the Besakih Beach Hotel after Gili T before flight back to Darwin. Unfortunately, Joanne started feel unwell just after we arrived at Bali International Airport, although we managed to make it back to Darwin, Joanne took three days to completely recover from her Bali Belly.
